The 3 1/2" Shad has a thicker tail than the 3 1/2" Shad Action Tail Shad. This thicker tail requires a little more drag in the water to get the tail flapping then the Action Tail Shad. We utilize this profile when:
Using a somewhat fast retrieve.
In rivers when running the bait against or cross current.
We generally utilize the following blends:
Swimbait Sinking. This is our standard swimbait blend.
Worm Sinking. This blend is more flexible / softer than our swimbait blend. We utilize this when we wish to achieve a finesse type presentation.
